First things first, let’s address the elephant in the room. Maybe I should say giraffe? Either way, I know the first thing you’re going to ask me is, “How tall are you?” I know this because everyone asks. So, now to take away that ice breaker from you and force you to come up with something else I will reveal my height: I’m 6 feet 2 inches.
Besides my towering frame, I have a few interesting facts to share. In 2012, I was the third best horse judger in the state of Washington (side note: I’ve also judged potatoes, but I wasn’t able to bring home bragging rights for that contest). With help from my teammates, I won six state championships in high school – three in volleyball and three in basketball. Finally, in seventh grade I decided I wanted to be a journalist and I haven’t strayed from news since.
I am putting in work to chase my dream of becoming a newscast producer for NBC’s the TODAY Show. And you can see some of that work right here on this site.
I lived the first 18 years of my life in a rural town outside of Spokane, Washington, and the past four years have been spent in Phoenix, Arizona.
